Our school vision is to provide opportunities for all students in a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment. We provide an extensive mandate curriculum that is balanced with a range of innovative, success-focused programs designed to engage the range of students who attend the school.
2023 Enrolments
If your place of residence is within the Geraldton Senior High School Local Intake Area (LIA) please collect an enrolment package from our office. This enrolment pack will contain the following:
- Covering letter
- Application for Enrolment Pack A
- Student Enrolment Form (Enrolment Pack B)
- Curriculum Handbook
Please complete the details required within this package and present the completed materials and any other documentation required to Geraldton Senior High School.
As part of the enrolment process, parents/caregivers are to provide documentation of evidence and support, as referred to on the Application Form.
If you do not reside in our local intake area and wish to apply, please complete an 2023 Application for Enrolment form only and forward it to Geraldton Senior High School, Carson Terrace, Geraldton.

The application will be processed at the end of Term 3.

Local Intake Area (LIA)
The defining boundaries of the GSHS LIA are as follows:
From the Indian Ocean at a point on the western extension of Olive Street, east and northeast along Olive Street (north side included) to the Brand Highway, north along Brand Highway (west side included) to the Brand Highway and John Willcock Link overpass, east along John Willcock Link (north side included) to North West Coastal Highway, east, northeast and north along North West Coastal Highway (north and west sides included) to Place Road, east along Place Road (north side included) to the Chapman River, east and southeast along the Chapman River (north side included).
Please Note: Although the map closely represents the LIA description, for some houses near the boundary (especially on street corners), it may be necessary to refer to the written description. The street address of a residence is used to determine whether that dwelling is inside a particular LIA. While local-intake areas for most schools do not change from year to year, changes may be made to local intake areas as required.
